ABOUT ME
Who am I?
I am a child of God, an elected exile sojourning in this world. While I am here, I am spending my time as a mother, poet, writing teacher at our homeschool co-op, teacher numero uno at Park Academy, Operations Director for KG Health Insurance, Sunday School teacher, friend, dog owner, and other fun "stuff".
In 2014 my husband of 17 years graduated to heaven after a hundred day battle with esophageal cancer. My status as "widow" is not something I want to define me, but my walk through grief influences my writing.
The photography on the page is my own. It's a fun addition to the poetry and whatever other writing I do on this page.
Why the picture of my dog and not me? Well, for starters, she's cuter. And who wouldn't rather look at a picture of my cute dog?
