In community group today, we were asked what we thought the phrase “grace upon grace” means. Here’s my answer in acrostic form.
Goodness and favor
Reaching out
Accomplishing redemption by
Conquering sin and death
Evermore.
Undeserved and unmerited
Purchased for
Our benefit—that which we could
Never earn.
Generously extended
Regeneration
According and reconciling us to
Christ and in love to
Each other.
